A modern day Paul Bunyan among us. What a great story.

Darn Air Tran leaving HPN service after August. That means all the DELTA flights will increase a lot. Guess this is the future of air travel. Much more $$$$$$
well once Air Tran leaves Delta will get the added surcharhes of leaving from a local airport like HPN and it will be profitable for their flight to Atlanta (their Hub). It's just that right now they have to match Aur Trans fares which are less than Delta charges at LGA
Maybe the Town and Village can give Bob a call when they must cut down trees. Firewood for those who need it for heat or for decoration while saving the expense of getting rid of it.
Close by airports often provide competition to others. JetBlue or other airline may take any slots that are vacated if people want to fly from HPN and the airlines don't face overwhelming opposition to flights. HPN has always been an issue of people who want flights vs. those who don't want airplanes overhead.

but remember airlines are cutting their commuter planes out. The routes are largely unprofitable.
Delta will likely leave too.

Air Tran now owned by and will fly under Southwest Airlines colors so hopefully we'll get good competition from NYC flights.
Great story! Go Bob!

Yes true 5:32 - just not at HPN anymore.

Ce qui sera sera.
Since we are so far off topic...
I'm trying to figure out where I live. It's January 24th and I have the doors and windows open in the house and the heat off.
Now if you also know your address, at one point there was a list on the Town web site, so you can try looking there.
Some of your actions might contradict local PD recommendations.
